EQUIPMENT INSPECTION AND PRE-IMPLANT VALIDATION
Used on a tablet, for maximum mobility, or via a HoloLens mixed reality helmet, it allows you to first inspect a device by comparing it with its 3D model. Orano is able to verify the conformity of the orders delivered by its suppliers. In some cases, the operation can even be performed remotely, via a simple video.
Once on site, the solution developed by Diota is able to display the same 3D model with great precision on the site of its future implementation. Through this superposition, the operator visualizes directly the good match between the construction and the technical prerequisites defined during the design.
He checks, for example, the presence of the various inputs and outputs necessary for the operation of a machine, the accessibility of the equipment or the respect of the integration standards, without having to make tedious manual measurements.
AN EFFECTIVE SOLUTION THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT
The operator validates and comments on the different inspection points directly within the augmented reality interface. Once validated, its report is automatically saved and transferred to engineering, so as to facilitate collaboration between the businesses and ensure the traceability of operations.
Unlike applications based on the development of a fixed reference model, Diota's DIGITAL-ASSISTED OPERATOR solution proviodes efficiency and reliability even in a constantly changing environment. It is thus possible to visualize the location of a machine and its technical prerequisites at each of the different stages of the site. Innovative and efficient, the solution is operated independently by the Orano teams, who are now exploring new use cases.
